Artist's Description
A photograph of the Ventura California Cross with Anacapa Island (Channel Islands National Park) in the background. This image was taken a year after the Thomas Fire swept through this area. Damage to the cross was on the left arm as seen from this perspective. All vegetation was consumed by the fire.
